One of my favorites, a constant cry of my heart…
Pass Me Not
written by Fanny J. CrosbyPass me not, O gentle Savior-
Hear my humble cry!
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.CHORUS-
Savior, Savior, Hear my humble cry!
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.Let me at a throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief;
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief.Savior, Savior, Hear my humble cry!
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.Savior, Savior, Hear my humble cry!
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.Thou the spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me!
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in heav’n but Thee?Savior, Savior, Hear my humble cry!
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
Oh, I love, love, LOVE this song! And I love listening to Fernando Ortega sing it on one of my favorite cd’s.
I like to share my love of good, God-honoring music (in my opinion!), and so, in honor of this week’s 5 yr Blogoversary, I’d like to share a copy of this cd with one of you. Except for the sharing part, ’cause really I’d like to give one away!

If you feel so inclined to click, I thank you kindly in advance 🙂
I know it sounds lame but I always go back to amazing Grace. It never gets old to me
I tweeted it but may be in trouble because of it. I can not sleep and as soon as I tweeted it I heard my husbands phone chirp from the bedroom. I forgot he follows me on twitter. probably not very happy about the middle of the night tweets

#83 in Great Hymns of the Faith O Come,O Come Emmanuel
I have to admit,I have just listened,closed my eyes & listened while others have sung this song.Truly my favorite!
“Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.”
Amen. I love this hymn. I was reflecting on the words just the other day as I made our hymn selections for our church service today.

It looks like I already “like” you on facebook.

A favorite of mine as well. I love the calm and quiet of a lot of the songs on his CD’s. Seems the older I get, the more I appreciate moments of calm and quiet.
