Multitude Monday

My Counting Continues

My waiting continues, today marks 40 weeks and 3 days.

I was tempted to stay home from church yesterday, honestly, I was.  I always go past my due date, and people always try to make conversation with questions like, “No baby yet?”, “Still pregnant, eh?”, “Getting anxious for baby yet?”

I know they mean well, but, ugh, I usually end up crying…

Yesterday was a blessing.  No comments, no crying, just good preaching and teaching and fellowship.

And I’m so thankful.

701. missionary stories of God’s working wonders in El Salvador

702. zeal spreading through a congregation

703. teens eager to step out their faith in Mexico this summer

704. Mr. Extraordinary taking a car full of children to the hardware store

705. hand embroidered onesies

706. a day of catching up on laundry

707. starting a knit baby sweater, wondering if I’ll finish it before baby comes

708. long Friday chat with  midwife

709. getting out after a storm for a day in the big city

710. children humming Strauss

711. hymns that speak so much to the soul

712. pieces of soft flannel to make one-of-a-kind blankies

713. the old sewing machine, still working stitches

714. new sunglasses, and needing them in this bright spring sunshine

715. encouraging friends from around the world!

    Good morning,
I found you {by accident} through Ann’s blog. I tried to click to add my link to the list and some pictures hadn’t finished loading and as I clicked the whole business shifted and I ended up landing here, rather than the place where I needed to be to add my link. But, what a blessing. I’m in Minnesota too. Am also waiting for spring. And am also raising a houseful of smallish people {We’re a tad behind you though, with our 6 . . . although we’re currently watching a friends 2 kids for a few days, so at the moment we’re up to 8}.
Have a fabulous Monday and I hope that newest little person arrives soon {today would be a great day, in my opinion, as it’s our sweet Anna’s 3rd birthday!}. Take care!
    Blessings,
    Shana

Tuesday now means just a continuation of Multitude Monday for me. Can’t stop reading lists. And so I’m here today from Ann’s.

    I will not ask about the baby. But I did just pray for the baby and mom I’ve never met – except through these words. Hope that’s OK. And today my favorite from your list was 710. children humming Strauss (because right after I read it, I pictured it – and now I’m humming) {smile}

God Bless and keep you and yours
May His face shine upon you…
    and all of yours.

So glad I stopped by today, even though I am late this week. Your list was so great, and it makes it hard to choose a favorite. Between hymns and children humming Strauss. . . they are both on top. Praying for you!!!!! Cora
